OECD Compliance
VM Jewellery is compliant with the OECD's (The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) due diligence guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of minerals from Conflict Affected and High-Risk Areas (CAHRA). This guideline is applicable to all sorts of mined minerals such as Gold, Silver, Diamonds, Colored Gemstones and so on.

METAL SOURCING
We only buy gold from trustworthy suppliers that have been verified as conflict- free. We see the LBMA (London Bullion Market Association) Responsible Gold Guidance as a crucial tool for gold and silver procurement from refineries.
ALLOYS
All jewelry manufactured and supplied by VM Jewellery is compliant with Nickel safe alloy which sets a restriction on the quantity of nickel that may be used in jewelry. This is critical for reducing the impact of nickel-containing goods coming into direct and prolonged contact with the skin.
Diamond And Gemstone Sourcing
Every Diamond Sourced At V M Jewellery Is Conflict Free And Ethically Sourced.
- Our sourced diamonds are not obtained in violation of applicable national laws and/or sanctions by the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and have not originated from the Mbada and Marrange resources of Zimbabwe.
- We keep a detailed record of Lab Grown diamond screening by SYNTH Detect (IIDGR – A DeBeers Co. (product) & Yehuda (Israel) for every piece we receive and manufacture.
All diamonds we buy comply with the Kimberley Process requirements set by UN General Assembly Resolution 55/56, ensuring that they come from legitimate sources and are not used to support conflict. We also adhere to the WDC SOW Guidelines for responsible procurement.
Lab Grown Diamonds
Several Lab Grown diamond detecting equipment are installed at various entry and exit points to confirm the origin of the diamonds that are used in manufacturing jewelry. We keep a detailed record of Lab Grown diamond screening by SYNTHDetect (IIDGR - A DeBeers Co. product) & Yehuda (Israel) for every piece we receive and manufacture.
